It has been quite some time since Weekdone won Slush, the leading startup conference in Northern Europe and Russia. On Tuesday (3rd of June), we also won two awards from the competition best mobile application 2014, winning the special category of secure mobile e-service and being one of the leaders in business category.
The contest was open to mobile applications in the field of education, culture, entertainment, business, state and local authorities. Altogether, 71 applications in 5 different categories were competing. In addition to being one of the leaders in business category, which had the fiercest competition, Weekdone was the only one to receive special prize in the secure mobile e-service. The special prize NutiKaitse2017, which is in accordance with the new national project that promotes the safe use of smart devices and the development of secure mobile e-services to set an example to the world, is a true honor.
“Weekdone is all about helping busy executives that need quick insights into their teams. And we all know how vulnerable some companies can be to Internet safety. Therefore, we are especially delighted to have received such a prize,” said Weekdone CEO and co-founder Jüri Kaljundi. “We have noticed a trend among our clients that close to 65% of users enjoy the benefits of weekly mobile reporting and use reporting systems exclusively on mobile devices.” Kaljundi adds.
Kaljundi also mentions that the competition was especially great experience to gain positive feedback from home country “Although lately we have been more focused on foreign markets, we are always glad to gain more popularity among Estonian leaders. The shortage of team management apps is pressing everywhere and that’s what pushed us to develop Weekdone for first iOS and then for Android. The addictive dashboards, visually attractive design and informative overview of the team is what has won the heart of many leaders.”
